Enniskillen is the main town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Located in the south-west of Northern Ireland, the town & region are approx. 120 km from Belfast and 160 km from Dublin (Rep of Ireland), making it an easily accessible destination from all major air and sea-ports. The town is located in the heart of green, serene yet spectacular countryside, it is as varied as it is beautiful.

County Fermanagh is known as Northern Irelands lake district making it the holiday destination for cruising and other water based activities. The 70 km of lakes situated in the county are now linked to the Shannon system in the Irish Republic via the Shannon-Erne Waterway Canal, making the entire system the longest navigable inland waterway in Europe. Fishing is naturally one of the more popular activities for both visitor and local alike, with this in mind it comes as no surprise that the day's catch often ends up on the dinner tables of the large variety of restaurants and eateries in the area. The county itself is steeped in history and heritage, evident through the many historic islands dotted throughout the waterways, also through impressive National Trust owned stately properties. The area houses the remains of several plantation castles dating back to the early seventeenth century.

Other attractions include the world renowned Belleek Pottery, Ireland's oldest pottery, facilities include a museum and gift shop, guided tours are available exemplifying all stages of the manufacturing process. Another unique visitor attraction is the Marble Arch Caves - Northern Ireland's only underground cave system open to the public.
