1 - Language School Overview :
Welcome to International Gateway Kelowna (IGK), Kelowna's original ESL school! IGK is Canadian family owned and operated.
We offer Practical English as a Second Language (ESL) programs for Ages 12+ with classes beginning weekly. IGK students come from over 15 countries and our small class sizes (max. 8 students) guarantee a very personalized and high quality learning experience. Morning classes focus on the core skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar) with a selection of afternoon electives in TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge (CAE, FCE) Conversation, Business English and Media.
IGK is Kelowna's exclusive Cambridge and TOEFL Testing Centre.
Our Summer and Winter Action Camps include ESL + Activities, Soccer, Golf, Equestrian and Rafting for ages eight to adult.
IGK Advanced Level graduates can transfer directly to a variety of universities, colleges and high schools in British Columbia, the U.S.A and the U.K. without TOEFL, IELTS or GMAT for a variety of Diploma, Certificate and Degree programs including MBA.

International Gateway Kelowna is located in the Towne Centre Mall in downtown Kelowna close to beaches, shops, attractions, transportation and restaurants. Kelowna is world famous for golf, wineries, sking, snowboarding and just 'kicking back' on 120km Okanagan Lake. Kelowna is easily accessible by air from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Seattle and Toronto.
