1 - Language School Overview :
Mountainside is different! It offers private tuition in a homestay-school for any period of time. We teach students at any level from beginners to advanced. Because of our methods, we can teach in three months what most schools aim to teach in a year. Everything is included in the fees and no additional costs are involved for anything related to our courses.
Students plan their our curriculum with their tutor and we help all students reach the goals that they set for themselves. Some students can only stay a week or two with us. Some students can stay for up to six months. A student may start at any day of any month of the year.
We help students prepare for TOEFL, TOEIC or any other English test. We also have courses in conversational English, business English, writing, etc.
All our teachers posess Advanced TESOL Teaching Certificates for whom English is their first language.

Mountainside is a luxury homestay school, where students live in the midst of a beautiful woodland area. There is opportunity to explore the forest and mountain trails all around!
Mountainside is close to the Pacific Ocean and has a view of the sea, with beaches nearby.
Our gardens with fountains and flowers are always available to students at any time.
Mountainside is in Greater Victoria - "the city of gardens" - which is known as the beautiful city in Canada and one of the 10 most beautiful cities in the world.
