1 - Language School Overview :
ACCESS is a mid-sized, friendly school located in the heart of downtown Toronto (Yonge & Bloor area). We offer a wide variety of high-quality English language courses at reasonable prices. All classes are small (maximum 8 students), guaranteeing each student personal attention from the teacher. We have a very strict English-only rule at all times, both in the school, and on all school trips and activities.
ACCESS offers seven levels, from low-beginner to advanced. Choose from the following courses: Full-Time English, Full-Time PLUS, Intensive English, Study-Tour, Work Internship, Business English, TOEFL, TOEIC, Conversation & Pronunciation Skills, and TESL (Teaching English As A Second Language).
All ACCESS students have the opportunity to make a Canadian friend, practice speaking English, and learn more about Canadian culture by participating in our optional Canadian Buddy add-on program.
By joining our exciting Study-Tour Program, students will visit Toronto-area tourist sites twice a week with their teacher and classmates. All trips are carefully designed to develop students’ speaking and listening skills.
The ACCESS Work Internship Program gives our students an opportunity to build on the English they learn in the classroom by getting real-life communication practice in a professional work environment.
Our TESL Program is for advanced students who want to learn how to teach English. The course includes observation of ACCESS teachers as well as practice teaching to ESL students. It's a great opportunity for students who are interested in teaching or tutoring in English back home!
