Cavilam is located in exceptional surroundings on the campus of the new University and Technology Centre in Vichy.
The 9,000 m2 building is situated in the centre of town, in a park beside the river.
Students will find at their disposal : 30 classrooms, a lecture hall, 2 large multi-purpose rooms, a multi-media research centre and 4 multi-media laboratories.
Cavilam was founded in 1964 by the municipality of Vichy and the two Universities of Clermont-Ferrand, which are responsible for supervising the teaching and also take part in setting up programmes. Cavilam is also an internationally renowned centre for research and as such contributes to new developments in the field of language teaching.
All teachers have university diplomas. They teach their mother tongue and ensure that each student receives individual attention.
