1 - Language School Overview :
The Language Centre of Ireland was founded in 1966 and is dedicated to excellence in the teaching of English to adult students from around the world. Today we welcome students from over 50 nationalities each year. We offer excellent facilities, top quality teaching and , most of all, a truly friendly environment in which to learn. We are proud members of two of the most important associations for quality assurance in langauge teaching, EAQUALS and IALC and we are committed to ensuring the highest standards for our learners.

The Language Centre of Ireland is located in the very centre of Dublin city, the lively capital of Ireland.This historic city of 1 million people has experienced a major economic boom in the last 10 years and yet has not lost its reputation as a great place to enjoy yourself. The school occupies a carefully restored historical building just across the street from the Irish Parliament and the National Museum and close by you will find many of the cities best cultural attractions as well as department stores, restaurants, pubs and cafes. The train station and the tram station are each less than 5 minutes away from the school on foot.
