1 - Language School Overview :
Clare Language Centre was founded in 1992 and recognised by the Irish Government Department of Education as an English Language school in 1994. We are open all year round and offer a variety of courses both short and long term including General English, Intensive Courses, Examination Preparation and Business English.
Our sister school Ennis International Business School offers Certificate and Diploma Courses in Business Studies and Hospitality Management.
In July we organise an English and Activities Programme for teenagers from from 12 to 17 years old. In August we organise family programmes with special activities courses for children while the adults take one of our adult courses.
2 - Location :
Clare Language Centre is located in College Road in Ennis, near the public library, swimming pool and leisure centre. Our spacious, historic building, Erasmus Smith House, is over two hundred years old and it has extensive grounds. Ennis is a medieval town with a central square, pretty narrow streets, and many small shops and restaurants. With a population of 25,000 inhabitants, Ennis is a safe and friendly town.
County Clare lies on the Atlantic Coast and it has some of the most famous scenery in the West of Ireland including the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren region. Clare is also the best county for Irish traditional music and dancing and so live forl music can be heard every night in Ennis town.
