At the Small Language School we specialise in individual tuition. All lessons are one to one and during your stay you will be our only language guest. A complete immersion in English and a course tailor-made to your personal needs will ensure that you can make the maximun amount of progress in the minimun amount of time.We are located in the peaceful countryside of the west of Ireland - beautiful views, fresh air give an opportunity to rest and relax while you learn. Private accommodation is provided along with all your meals (with fresh produce from our gardens)and transport to and from the airport. We'll also give you the opportunity to expolre and see a bit of Ireland.

The School is run by Jonathan and Sonia Lawes at Kilrateera which is situated just outside Mountshannon in County Clare in the west of Ireland. Mountshannon is a picturesque village on the banks of Lough Derg. Kilrateera is a traditional farmhouse with panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The peaceful rural location is conducive to both study and relaxation. The school is set in its own grounds and has its own organic gardens with over an acre of fruit bushes, orchard, vegetable crops and greenhouses.
