AIS St Helens is New Zealand's largest and most international independent degree provider, with a roll of 1500 students from over 30 countries. The institute has bachelor degrees in international business, language and culture (including a Certificate In Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and tourism management. The School of Graduate Studies has the second largest MBA programme in New Zealand and a Master of Commerce.
The English Language Centre provides programmes that bridge students into tertiary study as well as a general English programme for students interested solely in English language study. Tour groups are facilitated in the English programme.

AIS St Helens has three campuses in Auckland. The Main Campus is located 10 minutes from the Auckland Central Business District (CBD) in Western Springs. The Asquith Campus is located 10 minutes walk from the Main Campus in Mt Albert. The AIS St Helens City Campus is located in the heart of Auckland's CBD. Across the road from the newly opened Britomart Transport Centre and bus terminal, it is close to cafes, restaurants, nightclubs, pubs and shopping facilities.
