We are a New Zealand school which has specialised in successful IELTS programmes preparing students for the IELTS exams for entry into Universitys and Polytechs or into work. Emphasis is now being placed on other programmes such as those catering for students on working holiday visas and students on group programmes. WIE can now offer High School Preparation alongside its General English and IELTS Preparation courses. Many of our graduates have been accepted onto programmes at the University of Waikato, University of Auckland and the Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec). They are studying degrees and diplomas in such subjects as Management, Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Tourism, Information Technology, Architecture, Nursing and Communication. Others have been accepted onto Foundation programmes. Some younger students have now gone onto High School after spending time improving their English. If your students also want to apply to Wintec or the University of Waikato, we can apply to those institutions for a Conditional Offer of Place. This is a free service that we provide to our students. Our success lies with our frindly, quality teachers who are highly educated and experienced. WIE provides comprehensive English language programmes, which are relevant to the needs of multinational students. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students ensuring personal teaching. Our timetable also reflects the amount of FREE one to one time students are able to have with teachers during tutorials. Our highly competitive fees are also an incentive to students. Our Institute caters to students of all nationalities. In the past, our students have come from China, Korea, Thailand, Chile, Switzerland and Taiwan as well as students from Somalia and the Pacific.

With a population of around 130,000, Hamilton is just 11/2 hours easy drive from NZ's largest city, Auckland. As a university town, Hamilton has a large multicultural student population with many restauraunts and entertainment. It is located close to tourist centres in Auckland, Rotorua and Taupo that boast many attractions including adventure activities.
