Rotorua English Language Academy is a high quality language school in the famous city of Rotorua in the North Island of New Zealand. RELA is registered with NZQA, and is a member of English New Zealand, an organisation of well-established quality language schools. We also have the English New Zealand Brewster Quality Standards Certification from SGS, the largest International Testing Inspection and Quality Certification Organization in the world. RELA is also an approved training centre for the University of Cambridge CELTA teaching qualification. Our school has an excellent academic success rate. We run classes from Beginner to Advanced level, using top international textbooks and teaching methods. We specialize in IELTS preparation courses, as well as running TOEIC and TOEFL preparation classes. Our premises are modern with good facilities including computers for email and for language learning, two large common rooms, two student kitchens and 19 classrooms which are specially built for language teaching. The school is only 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Students tell us they like the high standard of teaching and the friendly, helpful staff. Rotorua is a well-known spa centre, and is a small, friendly city with a magnificent range of attractions for visitors. It is famous for its unique geysers, hot mineral pools, beautiful forests and Maori culture. It is surrounded by mountains and lakes in a clean, green natural environment. You will see boiling mud and steam, geysers erupting, and Rotorua has lots of history. You can see a Maori concert and enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi. We have some wonderfully relaxing activities also. Walks, fishing, hot spas, bike rides & lake cruises. Rotorua has many beautiful walks available to the public, we also have fishing, tennis, horse riding, football, badminton, and many golf courses both large and small.
