1 - Language School Overview :
GEOS Wellington is one of the newest schools in the worldwide network of GEOS English-language schools. Set in a beautifully furnished modern building, the school has 8 classrooms, a self-access room and a computer room for students. Internet access is free. All teaching and self-study materials are provided by the school free of charge. GEOS Wellington is fully registered by the New Zealand government as a language-teaching centre, and is affiliated to the Cambridge University teacher-training programme. All our teachers are native speakers, with university degrees, specialist language-teaching diplomas and practical teaching experience. We specialise in working with adult students at all language levels. Our success rate in international language exams is over 90%. This academic success, together with our small class size (average 6 students, and friendly staff explains why we are the most popular schools in the Wellington area.

GEOS Wellington is right in the middle of Wellington's popular "cafe district". It is within easy walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, theatres and only 5 minutes walk from the national museum, Te Papa. A bus-stop taking tudents to all parts of the city is right outside the school building. As the capital city, Wellington is safe, friendly and lively. It offers many attractions within easy reach: excellent shopping and entertainment, and a beautiful harbour that allows sailing and sight-seeing. Other opportunities include the nearby wine country; the lively movie industry (home of "Lord of the Rings"); and the many outdoor activities possible in the unspoilt NZ countryside.
