We are a unique institution - not suitable for all students, but a perfect choice for:
1. those who believe in “learning by doing”
2. those looking for peace and tranquillity;
3. those looking for experiences which are not offered in the cities
4. those who rate safety as a high priority
The most important facts about our school:
* we have been operating since 1988
* we are located in two seaside villages - safe, beautiful , and fun
* we have a capacity of only 45 students in each of our two schools
* we have a unique programme of “learning by doing” - teaching English by combining classroom lessons with “activity lessons”
* we have a 3 week “English plus Surfing” course
* we have a great mixture of students from Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Korea, Thailand, French Pacific, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Brazil Vietnam, and China.
* we also cater (in separate premises) for tour groups
* as well as being members of FIELSNZ (now EDUCATION NEW ZEALAND), we are one of only two New Zealand language schools accepted into IALC - the International Association of Language Centres.

THE TOWNS
Whangamata, situated on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula is a seaside resort town with a magnificent surf beach, a beautiful harbour, and a background of farmlands and forest covered hills.
Whitianga, on the beautiful Mercury Bay, 80km north of Whangamata is also a seaside resort town, rich in both history and natural beauty. Landing place of Kupe, the first Maori, and of Captain Cook a thousand years later, Whitianga is surrounded by white sandy beaches.
