Eastbourne School of English is a non-profit-making educational charity established in 1936. We have a strong commitment to providing high quality teaching. We offer intensive English courses for adults year round ,as well as teacher training programmes. We are accredited by the British Council and are members of English UK and Quality English.

Eastbourne School of English occupies two large Victorian buildings in a quiet, tree-lined stret in the centre of Eastbourne, just two minutes from the main shopping centre and five minutes form the elegant seafront. The school has 22 classooms, a large student lounge, a lively cafe, a large Learning Centre with free internet access and beautiful gardens. The buildings have been refurbished to a high standard.
Eastbourne is just 90km from London and 90 minutes from central London by train. Gatwick Airport is close by. The town is a popular seaside resort, attracting British and overseas tourists. The surrounding countryside of the South Downs is beautiful and unspoiled. There are historic villages, old castles and country houses and the spectacular Seven Sisters, the South of England's high white cliffs.
The town has a population of 90,000. Ther are three theatres, a museum and art gallery, a large shopping mall and lots of traditional pubs, bars and restaurants. All our host families live within walking distance of the school.
