1 - Language School Overview :
Charles Dickens College is a privately run independent fee paying school, located close to The City of London. Our primary activity is the teaching of English as a foreign language.
The school provides courses tailored to comply with the requirement of the Home Office for student visas. Courses run, depending on the requirements of the student, for 48 weeks a year, five days a week, Monday to Friday, and for three academic hours a day. The school is closed for 4 weeks annually, three weeks at Christmas and one week at Easter. We run courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
Apart from General English, we also run courses which prepare for Cambridge examinations (PET, First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency) and IELTS. We can also offer an intensive course for one month, 20 hours a week, and we can cater for any special courses (English for business, technical, etc.) that you might require, as long as there are a minimum of 12 students per course.
