The English Language Institute at the University of Bridgeport offers intensive English language study on the campus of one of the most international universities in the U.S. ELI focuses on preparing students for university work in the U.S. Students attend classes 25 hours per week in reading, writing, listening, & speaking. Curriculum highlights include newsletter writing, skit presentation, conversation practice and using our computer laboratory with selected websites, software, & videos. We feature small class sizes, from 5 to 15 students, and we have dedicated and enthusiastic native-speaking teachers with specialized advance degrees. Our graduates automatically meet the English language requirement of the University of Bridgeport and can begin their degree program at the start of the following semester. ELI organizes trips for fun and culture.
