The University of Hawaii English Language Program (HELP) is offered through the University of Hawaii's world-class Department of English as a Second Language. HELP is a full-time, non-credit, intensive ESL program, designed for highly motivated individuals who wish to improve their English skills for academic, professional, or personal needs. HELP features four 8-week sessions during the American university academic year - late August through early May - and three 4-week Summer Sessions. Our average class size is 12;
we have Beginning through Advanced levels of high-interest, content-based courses which prepare students for university and professional life; as well as
TOEFL preparation courses.
