Pacific International Academy is an intensive English as a second language school located in Portland, Oregon. Working with Marylhurst University, PIA provides ESL training to students from around the world. Classes focus on grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Our school is located on the campus of Marylhurst University in Oregon. The campus is located next to beautiful Lake Oswego which is about 15 minutes from downtown Portland. We are in a quiet neighborhood, which is surrounded by the natural splendor of Oregon's diverse environment. A main city-bus line runs directly to our campus, making it very convenient for our students to travel. Mount Hood is an hour east of us for nearly year-round snowboarding and skiing, while the fabulous Oregon Coast and beaches are an hour to the west. Located between urban and rural, mountains and the ocean, it is an ideal place for an international student wishing to experience the great American Northwest.
