1 - Language School Overview :
Penobscot School is a non-profit center for language learning and international exchange established iin 1986. Every summer, we offer intensive three-week English Immersions for adults. Students live with host families and study in the classroom Monday through Friday. Tuition includes everything except airfare and spending money. To date, students from 48 countries have participated in our programs. 2005 dates are July 9-30 and August 6-27.

Penobscot School is located on the beautiful coast of Maine in the USA. Rockland is a small city with a population of about 8,000. Sailing, kayaking and hiking are popular activities. Rockland is home to numerous art museums and galleries. The local community is friendly and very interested in welcoming people from around the world. The School is located within a five minute walk of downtown shops and restaurants.
