1 - Language School Overview :
Founded in 1945, the Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe is part of a world wide network dating back to 1884 to which 1085 associations adhere, which all work under local right.
The approach of our 75 qualified teachers, continuously improving ther vocational training, is communicative, creative and dynamic.
the learning process is emphasized by tests directed towards the levels of the Council of Europe. Our examination centre equally offers the possibility to obtain the official certifications and tests of the French State.
This year, more than 5 000 students for professional as well as / or for personal reasons. Among others, 2 500 officials of the European institutions attended courses within the framework of an inter-institutional contract, 500 diplomats, trainees and further actors involved with constructing Europe took tailor-made courses and a further 2000 students attended our standard courses.

The main building of the school is centrally located; it is relatively spacious and offers a variety of classroom spaces (seminar rooms and small and medium-sized classrooms) as well as a library, computing facilities and study lounges which will be made available for the program’s students. The main educational building is in close proximity to the institutions students would be visiting in Brussels and within walking distance of the metro, restaurants and cafes. It is also centrally located to the main cultural attractions in Brussels and the European Union institutions.
