LANGUAGE IN PROVENCE is a small language school based in the hillside village of Saint Saturnin lès Apt in the beautiful Luberon Valley in the south of France. We offer year-round immersion, specialist and intensive French courses for adults in small groups of maximum 6 students. Individual courses are also available. Our fully-qualified and experienced teachers understand how to make language learning a more accessible process and the learning experience a satisfying and rewarding one. The school is officially recognised by the French Government as an adult training institution (N° de déclaration d’existence auprès de la Préfecture de Région Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur: 93840259384).
2 - Location :
The school is located in a pretty Provençal house overlooking vineyards, olive groves and cherry orchards and has magnificent views of the Luberon Mountains beyond. We are just a few minutes walk from the centre of the thriving village of Saint Saturnin. Students choosing the immersion course option stay with carefully selected French hosts in the village itself and all accommodation is within a few minutes walk of the school. We invite students to join us each day for a pleasant and relaxed lunch - a great opportunity for practising French in convivial surroundings. The school has a shady garden and swimming pool which students are welcome to use. The famous Luberon villages of Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux are all within 15 minutes drive and the beautiful cities of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence with their history and festivals are just an hour away.
