1 - Language School Overview :
The Alliance Française Bordeaux Aquitaine provides with French intensive courses for all level and all year round.
French teaching lessons are organised on monthly sessions according to each level and adapted as the course progresses. The methods used (Forum, Connexion, Campus) conform to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is ensured by professional teachers specialised in teaching French to foreigners (French as a Foreign Language).
We also propose different workshops such as: French commerce/business, oenology/wine initiation, grammar, conversation, phonetics, literature, civilisation, French songs, gastronomy/cooking
Students can also benefit from other free services organised by the school such as : free access to internet (6 computers), personalised follow-up, free back-up lessons when required by the teachers, support for administration formalities Accommodation can also be organised in French families on request and the school is open all year round.
The school also provides the students with a monthly cultural and sport programme of activities ; it includes visits of the town (Bordeaux history, Great Theatre, Palais Rohan (town hall) Base sous-marine, museums etc.) and excursions (Saint-Emilion, Bassin d’Arcachon, Citadelle de Blaye, Châteaux du Médoc, la Rochelle, Pays Basque, Périgord etc.), visits to vineyards, VTT excursions, surf initiation, welcoming cocktails, restaurant, cinema, concerts, etc.
