1 - Language School Overview :
The CMEF, a non profit making organisation that complements the State Education system is proud of its 50 years of experience in international youth exchange programmes. Since its inception, the Centre’s French Language and Civilisation School has hosted more than 230 000 students from all over the world. Because of its cultural involvement as well as its educational competence, it receives more than 4 000 French and foreign youngsters and more than 300 teachers every year within the field of language learning, cultural and sports programmes and also for teachers training courses the CMEF offers French courses for teenagers, university students and teachers. Accommodation in renovated rooms with 3 to 5 beds. Full or half board meals are served at our cafeteria. Our multi-lingual host and guide team assures you a pleasant stay .

Lying at the heart of the French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) and just at the doorstep of Monte Carlo, the Centre Méditerranéen is 15 km away from both Nice and Italy and 15 minutes’ walk from the sea. Spread out over a campus that measures 3.5 hectares and overlooking the Mediterranean sea, the Centre is a picturesque park that enjoys expansive terraces and gardens with an abundance of flowers and trees. The Centre nests an antique theatre conceived and decorated by the celebrated artist and poet, Jean COCTEAU which provides an aesthetic backdrop to the place.
