1 - Language School Overview :
Institut Culturel Francais was founded in 1977 by a team of academics who graduated from the best French universities in literature, foreign languages, civilization, linguistics,phonetics,drama,economics, political science,and law .Ever since the Institute has currently organized intensive sessions of French courses for foreign students, teachers, academics and professionals; educational programs are combined with a program of activities which includes excursions, visits to museums, theatre workshops, guided tours of historic monuments, contacts with locals, wine tasting tours in the French south east vineyard region and beach excursions on the nearby Mediterranean coast.
Classes are held every morning in small classes.Afternoons and evenings are reserved for cultural activities as described above.
Participants aged min.16 get constant care and are offered room and board either at the halls of residesce or with a host family.

Institut Culturel Francais is located in Montpellier, a University town of 250 000 inhabitants, a quarter of whom are Univ.students.The city is internationally known for its famous Medical School dating from the 12TH century, a monument that is worth visiting today.The city centre dates from the Middle Ages and offers well maintained houses and monuments.
The school is located on campus within a 5 minute ride from the city centre.Public transports are modern and efficient(bus and tram)and can take you to the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean in 15 minutes!
