20 Years of Experience ILP has been offering language classes to students and adult professionals of all ages from around the world since 1982. ILP staff is available at all times to ensure students have an enjoyable stay and to assist them with any problem that may occur. All ILP students enjoy free high-speed internet access so that they may remain in touch with their families and friends. Carefully Screened Accommodation ILP takes great care in helping students find the accommodation that is best suited to their needs. “Family Accommodation”- Staying with a family is a pleasant way to practise your French and to learn about the French way of life. Students are met at the airport, railway or bus station by the host family. “Other accommodation” - Various options are available including furnished apartment rentals or larger shared apartments, and full-service residence inns. During the summer, small rooms and studios are available in the university halls of residence. Course Schedules Suited to Student Needs Standard course option A : 20 lessons A conversation or phonetics workshop (two during the summer months) Film club Individual work on CD-Roms Max. 10 students (12 in summer). Intensive Courses option B : Standard course + 4 lessons of private tuition/week Course content established according to the student’s objectives (standard or speciality French). Intensive Courses Option C : Standard course + 6 lessons/week personalised tuition or in DELF-DALF preparatory courses (groups of 4 to 6 students) to train for the written and oral exams (includes study of previous test papers). One lesson : 45 minutes We regularly organise cultural activities : excursions, museum visits, canoeing, french cooking classes… especially during the summer months (June, July, August and September).

Convenient Location The institute is conveniently located within walking distance of the city’s historical centre, just steps from the Peyrou Gardens - one of the largest open spaces in town. After class you can easily stroll through the vast pedestrian zone in the mediaeval quarter of the city where you will find a wide choice of sunny street cafés full of students for a coffee or a refreshing drink. A Step Back in Time History abounds in the city and region with a myriad of narrow mediaeval streets within the city center of Montpellier, the ramparts of the walled City of Carcassonne, the shaded arcades of the Roman Arena in Nîmes, and the coolness within the delightful Romanesque churches of the region.
