Langue Onze Paris - French language school in Paris, France

Langue Onze is a small school, teaching French language to foreigners and English. It was created in 1981 in the 11th arrondissement. In 1984, the founder of Langue Onze opened a second centre in the South west of France. Working as a cooperative, the school is run by a team of teachers whose teaching is intentionally based on the everyday spoken language, adapting their teaching methods and materials in this way. In order to work more efficiently and in a friendly atmosphere, we have chosen to work in small groups. The maximum is 9 people in a group, students of all ages and nationalities. All this allows for more personalised teaching and greater student participation.

We are located in an old building on Rue Gambey, a stone's throw away from the Place de la République, and a 10 mns' walk from Belleville, Ménilmontant and Le Marais. The 11th arrondissement has retained its traditional atmosphere, lively and convivial. No very famous monuments here... and no tourists. However, there are plenty of interesting places to see. If you wish, we can provide you with a list of places to go to, to help you discover Paris. We can also put you into contact with a Parisian who is learning your language, for a linguistic exchange.
