1 - Language School Overview :
The IKI (Internationales Kulturinstitut) is specialized in teaching "German as a foreign" language since 1981. We offer German language instruction
• at 14 levels,
• in groups of 9 to 16,
• for persons 16 years of age and older.
Qualified teachers will train you in all the language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
You will learn German in a friendly and interactive atmosphere using modern methods, audio-visual aids and up-to-date course material.
Our courses are structured according to 14 levels of proficiency: from Grundstufe 1A for beginners to Oberstufe for very advanced students.
Each level takes one month to complete on an intensive course and 10 weeks on evening courses.
Course content complies with the proficiency descriptions defined by the Council of Europe.

The IKI is situated in the very center of Vienna - next to the state opera house - and easy to reach by public transport.
