1 - Language School Overview :
The VIVA language school was established in 1990 and is located in the old part of Augsburg, a medium-size city in the south of Germany (in Bavaria), 60 km from Munich. With 7 classrooms for small groups (normally between 4 and 6 people) or one-to-one lessons we offer a very personal and familiar atmosphere. All teachers are native speakers and hold university degrees. We prepare our teachers for the monolingual and communicative approach. We prepare our students for using their language skills immediately after the first lessons and - if wanted - for various examinations like Zertifikat Deutsch, DSH, ZMP, ...
2 - Location :
VIVA Sprachkurse is located in the heart of the old part of Augsburg, a more than 2000 years old town founded by the Romans. The school is only 3 minutes walking distance from the RATHAUSPLATZ (Townhall Square), the central square. Not far from VIVA is the place where Bertolt Brecht, the famous poet and playwright, was born. There are many small shops in the old houses in our neighbourhood and a lot of Lech-canals. The closest square MORITZPLATZ is at a stone's throw from the language school and is very well communicated by almost all tram and bus routes to all directions. Famous sights such as the FUGGEREI - best described as a "town within a town"-, the world's oldest social settlement, or the OLD SILVER SMITHY are within walking distance as well.
