1 - Language School Overview :
International House Berlin PROLOG is situated in the city center: 10 minutes by bus from Potsdamer Platz as well as Kurfürstendamm. It provides quality management and regular training for its own staff. The school has specialised in different intensive German courses since its foundation in 1986. Students from all over the world (2004: more than 60 countries) enjoy the effective language training in combination with the German capitol's cultural offer. Students with previous knowledge of the German language can start any Monday (beginners: first Monday of each month) after a placement test. Besides the language training the school offers an extensive additional programme like excursions, city walks, museum visits etc which is always accompanied and guided by a school representative. Students can regularly prepare for and take different language exams.

The school is located in Schoeneberg, one of the most lively and tempting areas of Germany's capital. Having been part of the former "West-"Berlin students find their way to the western city center as easy as to the fancy eastern shopping miles. Both the subway and the city train is in easy reach (5-6 minutes walking distance) and busses are stopping right in front of the school building. There is a real interesting variety of shops, restaurants and bars around the school. Students' accommodation is in the inner city circle and therefore pretty close (30 min by public transport max.) to the school.
