philLingua has been successful since 1991. It is run by a woman who is an internationally and academically trained language expert. Our specialization is twofold:
1.) Highly individualized (no standards!) and interpersonal "made to measure" language seminars (English, German, French & Spanish) with a strong focus on your active communicational development. For best results we teach one-on-one seminars mainly; to secure maximum speaking time groups have 2 to 3 participants only.
2.) Text work seminars on topics around culture, literature and philosophy in the language of your choice (German, English, French).

Our intendedly small school is centrally located in Hamburg-Altona, one of the most beautiful and popular parts close enough to downtown to enjoy everything Hamburg offers. Trains and busses are within walking distance. Or simply take a walk to the river Elbe and see the breathtaking dynamics of the world famous port of Hamburg. Pleasant cafés and restaurants are only minutes away from philLingua. Countless leisure and/or cultural activities are easy to reach. By contrast, you work in a calm, concentrated and personal atmosphere.
