Our company’s name is our program. We are a meeting point for newcomers to Munich! Our goal is not only to offer language training, but also to combine learning German with the intercultural aspects of life abroad. This service is meant for the entire expatriate family: employee, spouse, and children. Meeting point was founded in 1995. Currently we have a pool of 25 freelance teachers, including a team of six trainers who have worked together since 1995. Our instructors are all native speakers and have degrees in teaching German as a Foreign Language. They have years of experience teaching in Germany and abroad. Additionally some of our children’s teachers have diplomas as teachers of German schools and/or a specific training degree in teaching foreign children. Our intercultural trainers have faced the challenges of living abroad themselves. They do not only have the experience and certification of teaching German as a foreign language, they also have job experience in other fields and degrees in business and intercultural studies. The classes for adults are conducted in mini-groups of 3 – 8 students (average group size: 5 students). This guarantees that every participant is individually coached and allows time to concentrate on his or her learning needs. For the morning classes we offer child care. Naturally, we can provide private lessons. This is, of course the most effective method. Here we can concentrate exclusively on individual needs, and the student can determine the main topics of instruction. For the convenience of our clients we also offer In-house-training for groups and individuals. The classes for children prepare your child for attendance at a German school. Initially we concentrate on the German language itself: oral and written communications are developed in parallel. We are careful to alternate between phases of structured work and more relaxed periods. Our teachers make full use of their imaginations to make learning fun and keep the interest of the children. We have five training rooms, plus one room where our children's courses take place and additionally a room for childcare only.

Meetingpoint is located in the center of the town: five minutes away from the heart of Munich: Marienplatz, convenient to all S-Bahn stops and U 3 / U6. Two other U-Bahn lines can also be reached in five minutes: U4 and U5 at Karls-Platz ( Stachus). Our school is located in a quired side-street but Munich's shopping mile Kaufinger-Strasse is just around the corner. The location is an ideal start point for a sight-seeing tour through downtown Munich. Many spots can be reached easily by foot: Climb up the "Alte Peter" church tower or visit Munich's hallmark church "Frauenkirche"!
