1 - Language School Overview :
Our programmes offer students the opportunity to learn Spanish and to gain first hand experience of our culture. We stress the importance of individual attention and flexibility in approaches to teaching.
We offer either one-to-one or small group Spanish classes (max 3 students), with emphasis on Total Immersion. Classes are from Monday – Friday, with the weekend left free to explore the area.
Courses last from one to twelve weeks, depending on particular needs and requirements. These are usually 2 or 4 hours of classes daily (10 or 20 hours per week respectively), although we can also make special arrangements according to need.
Accommodation: students can choose between 1) the Hotel 2) a local family chosen by us, or 3) a place of their own choice.
We offer free optional afternoon classes in Latin dance, cooking, crafts and Latin American literature and film. There are also free local excursions to places of interest in the Cahuita area.
CII can adapt its courses to fit special requirements. We can cater for the interests of seniors, NGO and teacher training, conversational, Spanish for travellers, ecologists and marine biologists or others.
