La Escuela de Idiomas D'Amore is a quality educational institution created to facilitate the learning of Spanish at the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific Coast. Adjacent to our school is the spectacular Manuel Antonio National Park, one of Costa Rica's most famous rain forests. I have provided the perfect environment to meet the stuents'linguistic needs at an exclusive campus in the jungle. The center offers intensive Spanish language courses in a total immersion program. La Escuela de Idiomas D'Amore cordially invites you to participate in a unique study vacation in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. By enrolling in the preservation of the world's rain forests. La Escuela de Idiomas D'Amore donates a percentage of your tuition in your name to the World Wildlife Fund. La Esucela de Idiomas D'Amore offers six specific levels of Spanish proficiency to guarantee the student an appropriate placement. Our students range from absolute beginners to advanced speakers of the language. The student body is typically comprised of professors, medical professionals, business leaders and students from over 35 countries. Most students participate in the month program although 2 and 3 week courses are also available. To assure the highest quality education, enrollment is limited to 35 students monthly. This allows for individualized attention from our staff. Advanced registration is necessary. Our methodology is based on the whole language immersion method of learning; therefore, the professors conduct the lessons completely in Spanish. Students are suggested to participate in the homestay program designed to satisfy the fulfillment of a complete immersion in foreign language acquisiton. Local host familias are carefully seleceted and provide two delicious meals daily, cultural interchange and laundry service. As a guest in a host family, you will be treated as a member of the home by sharing meals and experiences together and enriching your international cultural opportunities. Our past students have commented that this program is one of the best aspects of the school. Alternatively, students can choose beach lodging at one of the many hotels or cabinas which surround the school.

At only 15 minutes by plane form San José, Manuel Antonio is simply described as a tropical paradise. Its sandy white beaches and high cliffs are situate in a vibrant rain forest full of extraordinary flora and fauna surrounded by an endless blue sea. It is home to over 100 species of mammals and 184 species fo exotic birs. Marine life is abundant in the park and the 12 sorrounding islands. Howler monkeys cry mournfully as bathers relax in the shade of the almond and coconut palms. A picturesque hike to Punta Cateral is a must! Manuel Antonio is located 7 kilometers from Quepos, a sleepy fisherman's town with a southern dusty hidden appeal. Quepos shows the leftovers of a former wealthy banana plantation and will offer you all sorts of cultural experiences. You will sense that small town feel where everybody says hello as you stroll by. A three hour bus ride from San José is a great experience that foreigners should have. Leaving the mountainous Central Valley you will pass through various charming towns such as La Garita, Atenas, San Mateo, Orotina, Parrita and the endless African palm plantations. Once in Quepos/Manuel Antonio you will have the chance to enjoy yourself with horseback riding, sportfishing, international cuisine, bars and discos, river rafting and expeditions in kayaks, surfing, snorkeling, bird and butterfly watching, quiet beaches, astounding sunsets and the most exclusive Spanish Immersion Center in Costa Rica!
