1 - Language School Overview :
The Mesoamerica Language Program (ML) is a department of the Institute for Central American Studies, which is dedicated to the cause of peace, justice and the well-being of the people and land of Central America. The objective of MLP is to provide an affordable, conversationally-oriented Spanish learning experience. Our program is designed to enable the student to converse in a short period of time, thus providing the possibility to communicate effectively and to gain a deeper understanding of Latin American culture; the methodology focuses on developing communicative skills. We are accredited by the Costa Rican government and by ISO-9002.
2 - Location :
The institute is located about 2 kms east of the center of the capital city, San José, just two blocks east of the University of Costa Rica. There is excellent public transportation and many restaurants and other attractions nearby. Our students visit outstanding tourist areas on the weekend or after their period of studies: beaches, volcanoes, cloud forests, etc. All easy to access.
