1 - Language School Overview :
The Spanish Immersion Program offered at the Baja California language College focuses on teaching students to speak and understand Spanish as opposed to merely studying exercises and memorizing lists. This hands-on, participatory approach has been the corner stone of our success since 1996.
Small Group Immersion classes are limited to only 5 students per instructor.
Our Private Immersion Program and Executive Immersion Programs are tailored to the specific demands of the indivudual student.
June, July and August are the months when Children, Teen and Family Programs are offered.
Our Medical Spanish Program is featured each March and November.
Weekend Mexican Cooking Workshops are offered two Saturday per month all year.
The majority of students choose to stay at one of our select Mexican family homestays.
Students venture into the city on excursions each Thursday.
The Baja California Language College is open 52 weeks per year.
2 - Location :
The Baja California Language College is located just 75 miles south of San Diego, Califoria in Ensenada, Mexico. This sunny coastal community offers mild temperatures throughout the year. Summer temps range from the high 60s F to the low 80s F. The winter lows are from the low 50s F to the high 70s F.
Ensenada is a city of about 400,000 inhabitants. It boasts the highest per capita engineers than any other city in Mexico.
Students arrive in Ensenada by flying into San Diego, California and then taking public transportation to the College. The College is only 1.5 blocks from the Main Bus Terminal in Ensenada.
Ensenada is 15 miles south of the Guadalupe Valley. The Valley is known as Mexico's Napa Valley and is the largest wine producing region on all of Mexico.
