1 - Language School Overview :
The Center for Languages and Ecotours (CELEP)is a school located in one of the most beautiful cities in the haert of Mexico. The school is a non-profit organization whose earnings fund projects of the Center for Social and Ecological Studies (CESE)since 1983, CESE has been promoting projects in education and enviromental conservation in the Lake Patzcuaro.
CELEP offers two-week courses in Spanish. These courses are an introduction at three levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. One may register for one, two, or all three courses. Classes are in small groups with well-trained teachers using funcional skills focus and enphasizing conversacional practice. We reiforce the language learning process with cultural activities. Opportunities for onversation with Patzcuaro residents are offered.
2 - Location :
Celep is located at the center of the city, just one block from the main plaza, where you can find any kind of service as: internet cafes, ATM´s libraries, nice restaurants, all kinds of artcrafs, etc. The homestays are all within walking distance. There are direct, rapid buses from Mexico city and from Guadalajara. There is a bus from Morelia, the capital of the state, each fifteen minutes.
