Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and Mexican culture while enjoying the sun and surf of the Mexican Pipeline, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico.
Instituto de Lenguajes Puerto Escondido offers private and small group Spanish instruction for students of all ages. Homestays and volunteer oportunities can be arranged. Workshops are available in salsa dance, oaxacan style cooking. We also offer surf lessons, surf board rentals, rock climbing and mountain biking excursions as well as tours of local lagoons, water falls and ruins.
Students may study as many hours per week as they would like and start any day that they choose. We are open 7 days a week all year long.

Puerto Escondido is a picturesque fishing village of 65,000 people located on the Pacific Coast of Oaxaca (Wha-ha-cah), Mexico just a few hours south of Acapulco.
Puerto Escondido is known for its beautiful beaches, its coastal culture and variety of activities including world class surfing, sport fishing and diving.
In recent years, Puerto Escondido has attracted the attention of international travelers. Flights now arrive daily from Mexico City into Puerto Escondido's international airport as do busses from Mexico City, Acapulco and Oaxaca. Despite this increase in traffic, Puerto Escondido has managed to preserve an "off-the-beaten-path," authentic feel while at the same time providing the amenities and security that make for a safe and pleasant visit.
Instituto de Lenguajes Puerto Escondido is situated just meters above and with a great view of the world famous surfing beach, Playa Zicatela. We are on a main bus line. However, because of our convenient location and the accessability of everything in Puerto, most students choose to walk to and from school.
