1 - Language School Overview :
The Lewis School has been welcoming international students since 1985. In recent years students from over 25 countries have taken Spanish courses with us and our foremost objective during this time has been to create a positive and supportive learning environment for our students. Courses are designed to offer a broad and interesting range of topics and class content. Our Spanish language and culture programmes are available throughout the year for adults, children and teens.
2 - Location :
One of the highlights of the school is the place where it is situated, one of the most beautiful districts in the city. If you take a walk in the area around the school, you will notice that most people are local, not tourists, and so, unlike the centre of Barcelona, you really can practice your Spanish and integrate into the way of life.
Our school is next to Barcelona University and 5 minutes from the Camp Nou, the Barcelona FC football stadium and museum. Just across the road you will find Barcelona's biggest department store, the Corte Inglés, and many other shops, restaurants and bars. We are right next to a metro station and in just 15 minutes you can be on the Ramblas in the historic city centre. And if you want to spend time on the beach during your stay, we are less than 10 minutes away from the main train station that will take you to Barcelona's nearby beach towns: Sitges, Castelldefels, etc.
