1 - Language School Overview :
Alce offers courses to Adults all the year round, and to juniors and children in Summer. Since 1983 at Alce we have been committed to the highest academic standards in language teaching. Our courses are designed to optimise the student´s progress. We focus on practical communication skills with emphasis on listening and speaking. Vocabulary, idioms and grammar are taught in stimulating ways to achieve fluency. All our courses have a cultural component to give the students an insight into the Spanish culture and way of life. We use recognised ELE course books and supplement these with authentic materials to provide interesting and productive lessons.
Our qualified and experienced teachers are dedicated to helping students achieve success in a professional and friendly environment. All our staff have experience in living abroad and are available to adivse and assist our students at all times. On completion of courses all the students receive a Certificate of Study.

Alce is situated in Oviedo, the political, cultural and aministrative capital of the Principality of Asturias in the centre of the Cantabrian Coast in Northern Spain.
Our two buildings are located in a residential area, near the biggest university campus and within five minutes walk form the city centre. Besides our offices, and class-rooms equipped with TV/video/DVD/CD players, we have a Multi Media Training room which the students can use for free access to internet and extra practice.
Oviedo has an impressive historical heritage and it is also a modern city with an active cultural and social life.
Asturias has a reputation for the hospitality and friendship of its people which makes it an excellent location to improve language skills
